Jerry Watkins is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Design, Swinburne University, Australia. He is also a Senior Research Fellow with the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation.
He has published across a range of disciplines including design; multimedia; human-computer interaction; and ICT for development. He is co-Chair of the Digital Cultural Communication Conference series. He has been invited to present his research to leading international bodies including the Intel Research Council, USA; and the Design Systems Research Centre, Italy.
Jerry has previously lectured at University College London; University of Westminster; and Queensland University of Technology.
He holds a MSc in Human-Computer Interaction from University College London, and a BSc with First Class Honours in Communication and IT from University of Westminster. His PhD examines participatory content creation and social media.
